The back side of the Acquison PC board is where we hide the connector for the RabbitCore Ethernet module, the Lattice CPLD for system control, the SRAM for the Cypress USB controller and the RS232 transceivers. You'll also notice some surface mount and through hole prototyping area at the lower left of the board.
