The powerful Spartan II from Xilinx provides an extremely flexible digital component which can be customized for your application (using the FREE Xilinx WebPack tools), or just use the acquisition firmware provided for out of the box operation.

FPGA programs may be loaded from the onboard PROM, or downloaded over USB, or from the RabbitCore, or from the internet !

Note: the FPGA footprint is designed to accept several Xilinx FPGA densities, from 15K gates (XC2S15) up to 100K gates (XC2S100).
